Lynn Nam December 6, 2013 Language Arts 2 Year-Round School I suggest all schools in Michigan should go to a year-round calendar

because it helps students` academic achievement. In year-round school, because students don`t get a long-term summer break, they experience less academic burnout. I forgot some of the things that I learned at school, during the summer break, so I wished if we had a shorter summer break. One study of six elementary schools, three on traditional and three on traditional schools, showed that students in year-round schools scored higher overall test score than students who go to traditional schools (Year-Round Schooling). If all schools in Michigan change to year-round calendar, students will be able to score higher on tests and will be learning more. For these reasons, I strongly suggest all schools in Michigan should go to a year-round calendar.
