MCI 00.1a THE PRINCIPLES OF INSTRUCTION FOR THE MARINE NCO
1. Purpose. MCI course 00.1a, rinciples of Instruction for the Marine NCO, has been
published to provide training to Marine NCOs with a basic background of educational theory,
techniques, and procedures that will enable them to become effective instructors.
2. Scope. This course addresses the basic procedures for the preliminary of instruction,
developing instruction, conduct and evaluation of the instruction.
3. Applicability. This course is intended for instructional purposes only. It is designed for use
by all Marines NCOs.
4, Recommendations. Comments and recommendations on the contents of the course are
invited and will aid in subsequent course revisions. Please complete the course evaluation
questionnaire located at the end of the text and retum it to:
