CHALAH RECIPE

For two 5 lb. loaves (or 3 medium sized ones) Chalah is a unique bread that is used during the Shabbat Connections. The Chalah should be prepared before Shabbat. Bread itself embodies the Desire to Receive for the Self Alone. Whats wheat? A Vessel! Wheat expands; bread rises. So bread is a code for ego because it rises and expands. On Shabbat, we want to fill up the Vessel with Light, not ego. So we say the blessing on the bread to manifest the Light within the bread physically.
Ingredients: 1 small bowl and 1 large bowl 5 lbs. of Organic Whole Wheat or any other flour (you can mix half and half) 2 to 3 cups of Kabbalah Water 2 packages of dry yeast 5 eggs 1 to 2 cups of sugar or agave nectar 1 tablespoon of salt container of Earth Balance spread (from Whole Foods) or to cup of olive oil 72 Names of God, Ana BKoach and lots of LOVE Procedure: 1. Heat a little Kabbalah Water (about cup) on the stove. (The water does not need to be boiling, but it should be warmed). Then add 2 packages of yeast and a little sugar or agave nectar (about 1 tablespoon) in a small bowl. Let sit for approximately 15 minutes to allow the yeast to rise. Mix 4 eggs, 1 tbs. of salt, 1 to 2 cups of sugar or agave nectar, the Earth Balance spread (or olive oil), and 2 cups of Kabbalah Water in a large bowl. You may mix with an electric mixer or by hand. After the fifteen minutes for the yeast to rise in the small bowl, mix the contents of the yeast, sugar, and water into the large bowl. At this point, all of the liquid ingredients should be in the large bowl mixed together. Start slowly adding flour (preferably at least 5 lbs to say the blessing). Add more water (up to a cup) if necessary (water amount varies based on the type of flour you use). The dough should stick to your hands. Recite Ana BKoach throughout the mixing:
