Proper Use

The wall clock shows the time by using Radio time signal (DCF). The
device is intended for use indoors at normal room temperatures only.
Any other use or modication of the device constitute improper use and
may result in injury and / or damage to the device. The manufacturer is
not liable for damage caused by improper use. The device is not intended
for commercial use.

Safety Instructions for Batteries








Remove the battery from the device if it is not going to be used for
a prolonged period.
CAUTION! DANGER OF EXPLOSION! The batteries must never be recharged!
When inserting the battery, ensure the correct polarity! This is shown
in the battery compartment.
If necessary, clean the battery and device contacts before inserting
the battery.
Remove a spent battery immediately from the device. There is an
increased danger of leaks!
If the above instructions are not complied with, the battery may
discharge itself beyond its end voltage. There is then a danger of
leaking. If the battery has leaked inside your device, you should
remove it immediately in order to prevent damage to the device!

Batteries must not be disposed of in the normal domestic waste!

Every consumer is legally obliged to dispose of batteries in the
proper manner!
Keep batteries away from children; do not throw them in the re,
short-circuit them or take them apart.
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Any
parts of the body coming into contact with battery acid should
be rinsed o with copious amounts of water and / or a doctor
contacted if necessary!

Preparing the product for use

Remove the battery insulation strip 4 from between the battery

and the contact. The wall clock starts to operate and begins to
receive the radio time signal immediately after the battery isolation
strip has been removed.
Note: Reception may be considerably reduced by obstructions
(e.g. concrete walls) or sources of interference (e.g. other electrical
devices). In the event of reception problems, change the position
of the wall clock (e.g. to somewhere near a window).

Radio Signal (DCF):

The DCF signal (time signal transmitter) consists of time pulses emitted
by one of the most accurate clocks in the world close to Frankfurt / Main,
Germany this varies by 1 second in a million years.
Your radio-controlled clock receives these signals under ideal conditions
up to a distance of approx. 1,500 km around Frankfurt / Main. Reception
of the radio signal generally takes approx. 3-10 minutes.

Operation

Receiving the DCF radio time signal

The wall clock automatically starts to search for the DCF radio time signal.
This process takes about 3-10 minutes to complete.
The reception of the DCF radio time signal by the wall clock can also
be started manually.
 Press and keep pressed the 50 button 2 at least 5 seconds. The
wall clock attempts to receive the DCF radio time signal. This process
takes a few minutes to complete.
Note: If the wall clock was not able to receive the DCF radio time
signal because of errors, e.g. due your location to being at too great a
distance from the transmitter or for other reasons, you can set the time
manually. The manually set value is overwritten as soon as reception
of the DCF radio time signal is successful.
HINTS: Press the button by using a pointed object (e.g. pencil).


Setting the time manually

Press and keep pressed the SET button 5 at least h seconds.

The wall clock switches into manual mode.
Press and keep pressed the SET button 5 again until the hands
reach the correct position for you to set the time.
Briey pressing the SET button 5 moves the hands forward in
one minute steps to enable you to set the current time manually.
Note: After 7 seconds without pressing the SET 5 button, the
wall clock switches out of manual mode and keeps the time as

normal. The manually set value is overwritten as soon as reception

of the DCF radio time signal is successful.


Reset the functions (RESET)

If the wall clock does not react, you can press the RESET button 1
to reset all the settings back to the default values. You can then
start again from the beginning.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The device should only be cleaned on the outside with a soft dry
cloth.
Under no circumstances should you use liquids or detergents, as
these will damage the device.
If the wall clock is not going to be used, remove the battery.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials,

which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to
dispose of your worn-out product.

properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and

Utilizare

Recepionarea semnalului DCF

Ceasul de perete ncepe automat cu cutarea semnalului DCF. Acest

procedeu necesit 3-10 minute.
Recepia semnalului DCF poate pornit de asemenea manual la ceasul
de perete.


Apsai tasta 50 2 pentru minim 5 secunde. Ceasul de perete

ncearc s recepioneze semnalul DCF. Acest procedeu necesit
cteva minute.

Indicaie: Dac ceasul de perete nu recepioneaz semnalul DCF

datorit erorilor, distanei prea mari fa de emitor sau altele similare,
avei posibilitatea de a regla timpul manual. Atunci cnd recepia
semnalului DCF a avut succes, valorile setate manual sunt terse.
INDICAIE: Apsai comutatorul cu ajutorul unui obiect ascuit (de ex.
creion).


Reglarea manual a orei

Apsai tasta SET9 5 pentru minim h secunde. Ceasul de perete

trece n regimul manual de funcionare.
Apsai tasta SET99 5 din nou i meninei-o apsat astfel nct,
acele de ceasornic s ajung n poziia corect i s putei regla ora.
Apsai tasta SET9 5 scurt astfel nct, acele s se poat mica
n trepte de un minut. Astfel reglai ora manual.
Indicaie: Dup 7 sec. fr a apsa pe tasta SET9 59 , ceasul
de perete prsete regimul manual de funcionare i timpul se
scurge normal. Atunci cnd recepia semnalului DCF a avut succes,

Resetarea funciilor (RESET)

Cu ajutorul tastei RESET- 1 toate valorile sunt resetate la cele

reglate anterior dac, ceasul de perete nu reacioneaz. Astfel
se poate realiza o pornire nou.

Funkwanduhr


Einleitung

Machen Sie sich vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme mit dem Gert
vertraut. Lesen Sie hierzu aufmerksam die nachfolgende
Bedienungsanleitung und die Sicherheitshinweise. Benutzen
Sie das Gert nur wie beschrieben und fr die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung gut auf. Hndigen Sie alle
Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des Gertes an Dritte ebenfalls mit aus.


Bestimmungsgeme Verwendung

Die Wanduhr zeigt die Zeit mittels DCF-Funksignal an. Das Gert ist nur
fr den Betrieb in geschlossenen Rumen bei normaler Zimmertemperatur
geeignet. Andere Verwendungen oder Vernderungen des Gertes
gelten als nicht bestimmungsgem und knnen Verletzungsgefahren
und / oder Beschdigungen des Gertes nach sich ziehen. Fr aus
bestimmungswidriger Verwendung entstandene Schden bernimmt
der Hersteller keine Haftung. Das Gert ist nicht fr den gewerblichen
Einsatz bestimmt.

VORSICHT! EXPLOSIONSGEFAHR! Laden Sie

Batterien niemals wieder auf!
Achten Sie beim Einlegen auf die richtige Polaritt! Diese wird im
Batteriefach angezeigt.
Reinigen Sie Batterie- und Gertekontakt vor dem Einlegen falls
erforderlich.
Entfernen Sie eine erschpfte Batterie umgehend aus dem Gert.
Es besteht erhhte Auslaufgefahr!
Bei Nichtbeachtung der vorher genannten Hinweise kann die Batterie ber ihre Endspannung hinaus entladen werden. Es besteht
dann die Gefahr des Auslaufens. Falls die Batterie in Ihrem Gert
ausgelaufen sein sollte, entnehmen Sie diese sofort, um Schden
am Gert vorzubeugen!
Batterien gehren nicht in den Hausmll!
Jeder Verbraucher ist gesetzlich verpichtet, Batterien ordnungsgem zu entsorgen!
Halten Sie Batterien von Kindern fern, werfen Sie sie nicht ins Feuer,
schlieen Sie sie nicht kurz und nehmen Sie sie nicht auseinander.
Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit Haut, Augen und Schleimhuten.
Bei Kontakt mit Batteriesure splen Sie die betroene Stelle mit
reichlich Wasser ab und / oder suchen Sie einen Arzt auf!

Inbetriebnahme

Entfernen Sie die Batterieisolierung 4 zwischen Batterie und

Kontakt. Sobald diese entfernt ist, ist die Wanduhr in Betrieb und
startet den Empfang des Funksignals.
Hinweis: Der Empfang kann durch Hindernisse (z.B. Betonwnde)
oder Strquellen (z.B. andere elektrische Gerte) erheblich einge-

schrnkt werden. Verndern Sie gegebenenfalls den Standort der

Wanduhr (z.B. in die Nhe eines Fensters), falls es zu Problemen
beim Empfang kommt.
Funksignal (DCF):
Das DCF Signal (Zeitsignalsender) besteht aus Zeitimpulsen, die von
einer der genauesten Uhren der Welt, in der Nhe von Frankfurt / Main,
Deutschland, abgegeben werden sie variiert um 1 Sekunde in
1 Million Jahren.
Ihre Funkwanduhr empfngt diese Signale unter optimalen Bedingungen bis zu einer Distanz von ca. 1.500 km um Frankfurt / Main. Der
Empfang des Funksignals dauert in der Regel ca. 3-10 Minuten.


Bedienung

DCF-Funksignal empfangen

Die Wanduhr beginnt automatisch mit der Suche nach dem DCF-Funksignal. Dieser Vorgang nimmt 3-10 Minuten in Anspruch.
Der Empfang des DCF-Funksignals kann an der Wanduhr auch manuell
gestartet werden.


Halten Sie die 50-Taste 2 mindestens 5 Sekunden gedrckt. Die

Wanduhr versucht, das DCF-Funksignal zu empfangen. Dieser Vorgang nimmt einige Minuten in Anspruch.

Hinweis: Sollte die Wanduhr das DCF-Funksignal aufgrund von Fehlern,

einer zu groen Distanz zum Sender o. . nicht empfangen knnen,
haben Sie die Mglichkeit, die Zeit manuell einzustellen. Sobald ein

Empfang des DCF-Funksignals erfolgreich ist, werden die manuell

eingestellten Werte berschrieben.
HINWEIS: Knopf mithilfe eines spitzen Gegenstandes(z.B. Bleistift)
bettigen.


Uhrzeit manuell einstellen

Halten Sie die SET-Taste 5 mindestens h Sekunden gedrckt.

Die Wanduhr wechselt in den manuellen Betrieb.
Drcken Sie die SET-Taste 5 erneut und halten Sie diese, damit
die Zeiger ihre korrekte Position erreichen und Sie die Uhrzeit einstellen knnen.
Drcken Sie die SET-Taste 5 kurz, damit sich die Zeiger schrittweise um eine Minute bewegen. Stellen Sie so die Uhrzeit manuell
ein.
Hinweis: Nach 7 Sekunden ohne Druck auf die SET-Taste 5
verlsst die Wanduhr den manuellen Modus und die Zeit luft
normal weiter. Sobald ein Empfang des DCF-Funksignals erfolgreich ist, werden die manuell eingestellten Werte berschrieben.




Funktionen zurcksetzen (RESET)

Mittels der RESET-Taste 1 werden alle Werte auf die Voreinstellungen zurckgesetzt, falls die Wanduhr nicht reagiert. Somit kann
ein Neustart ausgefhrt werden.

Reinigung und Pege

Reinigen Sie das Gert nur uerlich mit einem weichen trockenen
Tuch.

Verwenden Sie in keinem Fall Flssigkeiten und keine Reinigungsmittel, da diese das Gert beschdigen.
Entfernen Sie die Batterie, wenn die Wanduhr nicht gebraucht wird.

Entsorgung
Die Verpackung besteht aus umweltfreundlichen Materialien,
die Sie ber die rtlichen Recyclingstellen entsorgen knnen.

Mglichkeiten zur Entsorgung des ausgedienten Produkts erfahren Sie

bei Ihrer Gemeinde oder Stadtverwaltung.
Werfen Sie Ihr Produkt, wenn es ausgedient hat, im Interesse
des Umweltschutzes nicht in den Hausmll, sondern fhren
Sie es einer fachgerechten Entsorgung zu. ber Sammelstellen und deren nungszeiten knnen Sie sich bei Ihrer
zustndigen Verwaltung informieren.

Entsorgung der Batterien!
Batterien drfen nicht ber den Hausmll entsorgt werden. Sie knnen
giftige Schwermetalle enthalten und unterliegen der Sondermllbehandlung. Die chemischen Symbole der Schwermetalle sind wie folgt:
Cd = Cadmium, Hg= Quecksilber, Pb = Blei. Geben Sie deshalb
verbrauchte Batterien bei einer kommunalen Sammelstelle ab.
