User guide: How to install Microsoft Lync

Start Internet explorer. Go to the following homepage: ftp.avkgroup.com/micros oft/lync

Type in Username and Password. username: avksw password: P@ssword

Click Log On.

If you use 32 bit version Windows click link: LyncSetup32.exe If You use 64 bit version Windows click link: LyncSetup64.exe

6.

Click Run.

Please notice!: If you are going to install the program on several PCs, instead click save and use a USB memory stick to distribute Lync.

Click Run.

Click Install

9.

Close the listed applications.

10. Click Yes.

11. Do not mark option Start Lync 12. Click Close.

13. Logon again to ftp.avkgroup.com/micros oft/lync (step 2 and 3)

14. If You have installed Microsoft Lync for Windows 32 bit version then click on LyncUpdateFeb12x86.exe If You have installed Microsoft Lync for Windows 64 bit version then click on LyncUpdateFeb12x86.exe

15. Click Open

16. Click Run

17. Click Next

18. Click Update

19. Click Finish

20. In Windows choose Start\Programs\Microsoft Lync and click on Microsoft Lync 2010

21. Please put the Sign-inaddress (provided by Service Desk) and click Sign In

22. Type in dkavkint\ followed by your user name. 23. Type in your Password and click Sign In.
