Day One I created an assembly of my film and played around with my footage to find something I was content with.

. At this point I have discovered that some of my originally intended shots have not been as effective as I hoped. This is mostly in the Sequence after the an finds the dagger! where the Stranger plays a ma"or role. I thin# I$ll ma#e use of the Image I designed to use in the title sequence more to act as a reference to the constant cycle moving onwards toward fate. Day Two I have played with the cut of the film some more! mostly in the dar# sequence. I have changed the prologue a bit as I felt it dragged and have begun to add cross%fades where I feel it is appropriate. I have made my image rotate quic#ly! which I thin# loo#s really cool! I&ve also played with the scale and have made it spin nearer and further slightly using envelope mar#s. I am starting to feel confident about my video edit and will hopefully screen the rough cut this wee#.

Day Three % Done some more fine tuning to the prologue and forest scenes! cut the dialogue shots to #eep the flow of the film moving along. I have also added some more cross%fades and added a few e'tra shots the plants and trees as I wanted to use as much of that as possible. I have e'ported my film into After (ffects so that I can begin colour%grading the footage. Day )our I have got to grips with After (ffects! I thought it would be harder to learn that it was in the end but the process is similar to that of *hotoshop so I feel quite confident with it. I am going to play around mainly with curves in order to give each scene an identifiable tone.

Day )ive I have continued editing in After (ffects! settling on the overall loo# of my film. The prologue feels warm an nostalgic whilst I wanted to the forest sequences to feel dreamli#e and transient which would go with the concept of the an$s "ourney. The dar#ness scene I haven$t really fiddled with too much as I am content with the gloom I was able to capture in the raw footage. Day Si' I only had a few things to edit today! mainly finishing off the title sequence and ma#ing sure I was happy with the edit. I am going to screen the silent version to my house%mates for their feedbac# and then possibly ma#e some more changes based on what they thin#.
