Objectives
Photography of the ocular fundus allows direct visualization of the retinal vasculature. Retinal vascular abnormalities may reflect similar vascular changes in kidneys, heart, and other tissue.

Methods
2605 participants from june 2006 to may 2008 1936 participants were photographed. Using canon CR-DGI Non Mydriatic Retinal camera Participants were seated in a darkened room for 5 minutes to induce physiologic papilary dilatation. Two image, macula and optic disc, were obtained from each eye
