Topic/Title of Lesson: Animal Obstacle Course Focused Domain: large motor

Goal: Children will understand the way animals move

Objective: Children will demonstrate jumping, crawling, slithering like different animals to make it around the obstacle course.

Procedure: Children will be surrounded with tubes to slither through and trampoline to jump on and an extra-large box to crawl through. The teacher will call out different movements that animal make and the children will have to do it.

Advanced Preparation: collect extra- large box, some tunnel tubes, and trampoline

List Materials: trampoline, extra-large box, tunnel tubes.

Developmental Benefits: cognitive language, social

Future Plans: children can dress up like animals
