5 Reharms of Rainy Day Hi Folks, Below are five reharmonizations of Here's That Rainy Day, beginning with my version;

then the standard lead sheet; and then four other versions, each becoming gradually more complex than its predecessor. The last four versions are analyzed with Roman Numerals for syntax and function within each progression. These are not offered as paradigms of musical art, but rather as an introduction to various standard harmonic styles. Re: Six Reharmonizations of I have not recorded this, and I did this study as an exercize in reharmonization. There are many recordings of this tune by a variety of artists, but you're search would be as good as mine. -- EdByrne

Re: Six Reharmonizations of "Here's That Rainy Day" Hi Ed: Very interesting treatments here .. the only thing I found a bit jarring was on the bossa lead sheet version (1.pdf) is on beat 2 of the second bar ( where the melody note is Eb ) you indicate an E75b .. did you mean an E MA7 5b ?? -- Phil Kelly
