4 Keypad Board
It has 4 keys which can be connect to microcontroller directly. KEY is a small keypad designed to data entries for microcontroller board. The board has 5-pin header for 5wire ribbon cable. It doesn't need any power supply. It will take logics of microcontroller's pins to ground when it is pressed.

This Application Note describes programming techniques implemented on the AT91 ARM-based microcontroller for scanning a 4Keys keypad usually found in both consumer and industrial applications for numeric data entry.,AT91 Keyboard interface In this application, a 4Keys keypad requiring four Input/Output ports for interfacing is used as an example. Rows are connected to Peripheral Input/Output (PIO) pins configured as output. Columns are connected to PIO pins configured as input with interrupts. The corresponding hexadecimal value of the pressed key is sent.
