Artifact Analysis

1. Explain why you chose the object you did. - I choose notes as an artifact, because it is the basis of why one may come to the library. Whether you are studying or you are doing homewor , notes are the initial go to.

'his does not change my interpretation, yet it changes my ways of (iewing the library group because i ha(e to consider different information, and habits for the people in my group.

It does not reflect a direct relation to your grade as studying and pertaining information does that, but it is the initial beginning of your learning. When people ha(e +uestions or need to refresh on topics, notes are there first choose, though the internet and others may be (alued, notes are more li ely to be directly related to the class and what may be tested on.

,. #ow is this object used in the subculture" What does that tell you about its significance and the (alue it has for the group" - E(eryone in my group had notes to start there learning, whether they had studying or homewor . -thers used them and refreshed on them more then others, example being studying o(er homewor , yet they were used. 'he significance of notes (alued the group because it allowed for the easiest transition between wor nowledge.

5. What literacies are needed to use this artifact" - I would not say there is specific literacies needed directly, but the different classes being studied would bring different literacies.
