YOUTH ACADEMY SKILL DEVELOPMENT

CLINIC SERIES
Individual skill development through drill progressions and repetition Focus will be on proper technique and movement for passing/defense Serving Sessions will focus on proper technique for underhand serve, side arm serve, overhand serve, and an introduction to the jump serve Attack sessions will focus on the approach, the armswing techniques for efficient use of the body, and success for backrow and front row attacks. Defense will focus on base, free ball transition, defense positions transition, movement patterns, and pursuit of the ball. Setting Sessions focus on proper hand contact, footwork patterns on and off the net.
