With ubiquitous and pervasive computing; distances, relationships, time and lifestyles
will get affected by one form or the other. We started to contemplate into many
situations where ubiquitous computing can be used. To start with we looked into issues
from urban scenario (related to our own micro-context)how advertising will change,
how will we escape from the information overload etc. to name a few.
But what mattered to us a group was that broadband should intervene into some sector
where there is no, little or ineffective use of internet. In this situation, broadband will
have the potential to bring in facilities they have never anticipated before and so we
sought to realise this potential.
Direction...
We want to instigate parallel thinking processes which advocate freedom to learn and think, look everything
from different perspective, form opinions. Education should facilitate collaborative learning for students for
holistic and participatory learning.
Rural children age group 5-13 yrs.

Our solution is…
- A learning device which is affordable and can be carried anywhere, anytime.
- It lets the user scan his surroundings and reacts to his voice and gestural Out of curiosity when the child
inputs. Output is provided by different media like audio, text, image or video in points the device on a particular
different overlapping layers of information. object ,the device understands
that the child is interested in that
- It is based on the metaphor of the twister puppet and lets them characterize object and star ts giving
and customize itself while they interact with their peer group. As there is a information in unpredictable
need for a stronger sense of belonging and attachment, the need of a ways
companion that would support and channelize one's thoughts into a correct
