2c Locate and identify water features

Teacher Tips: Copy pages 3 and 4, front to back, on white or colored copy paper. Copy page 2 on colored copy paper. Use a different color than the color used for pages 3 and 4. Student directions: Fold the copy of pages 2 and 3 in , hamburger fold, so that the map is on the outside cover of the half book, and the statement boxes are on the inside of the half book. Identify and label the water features on the map as indicated in the box label each. This serves as the cover page for the book. Cut apart the SET A boxes (page 2). Crease the top inch of each box, folding back and forth to create a tab. Glue the creased tab of the SET A boxes to the matching boxes on page 3, creating a flap. The two matching numbers should create a question/answer or a complete statement. The number codes should make matching easy. The foldable may be used for students to quiz each other for review.
