Cape Breton should trade their minerals with Liverpool because Cape Breton does not have the trees needed to produce pulp and paper. Liverpool should trade their paper products with Cape Breton because Liverpool does not have mineral deposits.

In the Northwest Territories, there is a large mining industry (gold and diamonds). Mining brings jobs and wealth to the North, but it also leaves behind toxic wastes that harm the environment. There are also many projects in the province for oil production. This impacts land, people, and wildlife. There are a lot of jobs produced from this industry, but it harms the trapping lifestyle of the Native people.

12. Based on the physical and cultural characteristics of Ontario, how would you prove that it is an ideal place to live? There are many good reasons for people to live in Ontario. The province is very diverse and there are many different cultures and types of people /4 who live there. Ontario has many different landscapes and regions. You can live in an urban area, such as Toronto, or there are rural areas, such as Barrys Bay. There are a wide variety of natural resources, which help the economy, supply many people with jobs, and create Canadian products. Ontario is able to exchange these goods with other provinces and among its regions. There is also a great culture in Ontario with art, music, dance and sports.
