Background: Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) has been an international problem especially for children. Two main pathophysiological changes occur in dengue hemorrhagic fever. Methods: A retrospective cross sectional study. Samples are patients that diagnosed with dengue hemorrhagic fever in RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado in 2012. Criterias include are patients < 15 years old and diagnosed based from WHO 1997, in this case already tested with hematocrit test and platelet count. This research use medical record and for the statistical analysis use t test also spearmans correlation test. Result: There were 137 children with dengue hemorrhagic fever and 62 children become the sample. There is no significance relationship between hematocrit and thrombocyte in dengue hemorrhagic fever patients (p=0,133). Conclusion: In dengue hemorrhagic fever children patients, there is no significance relationship between hematocrit and thrombocyte. Keywords: dengue hemorrhagic fever, hematocrit, thrombocyte
