For a starting artist to build a strong portfolio, he or she must be able to win awards to prove credibility. The advertising arts department and Toucpoint of the College of Fine Arts and Design want to give a chance to Thomasian advertising arts students to be recognized for their skills inside their alma mater. This contest will showcase the skillfulness of the students on diferent fields of the creative work in the advertising industry.

V. Project Objectives:
To identify the prominent artworks and potential exhibitor To boost up the students competence and credibility in different fields To discover and develop the potential of the students to become more capable in the corporate world

VI. Project Description: Illuminate is a dept.-wide competition divided into different categories (Digital Illustration, Typography, Photography, 2D Art, 3D Art, Animation) all involving the creative branches of work in an advertising agency.
Touchpoint will gather submitted artworks that will then be screened by the UST CFAD Faculty. The screened artworks will then be judged by invited industry experts invited by the organization.

VII. Project Duration: The contest is expected to start on December 2, 2013 and
ends on January 10, 2014.

VIII. Target Beneficiaries: The students are encouraged to join this contest to develop their prominency. The students who will join are expected to have a boost in their confidence and capability. IX. Proposed Budget: X. Monitoring and Evaluation: Officers are expected to facilitate the event. After the assembly, each participant is given a survey form (see below) to be filled out for assessment.
