Trough this mail I would like to explain to you my current situation regarded to my Msc Project. During introduction week I was requested to fill a form about my interests for my Msc Project, in which the main point I selected was Experimentation-testing; develop equipment: manufacturing; design-make-test`, emphasizing my design and construction background supported by my experience and expertise, this description was mentioned in the same document: Design and construction of furnaces, heat treatment of metals, CAD/CAM software, metal casting, glass fussing. I am 28 years old and have relevant experience within manufacturing processes field, fact that encouraged me to look for a deeper knowledge on manufacturing, energy and mechanical industry. Furthermore, due to my significant interest in Ecuadorian industry development I was awarded a Full Government Scholarship, resource that allowed me to come to U.K. to study at this prestigious University. The main scholarship condition after finishing studies, is to come back to Ecuador to contribute proactively in Ecuadorian Industry development, request I want to achieve by building and setting up a factory for Industrial Furnaces and Structures development in my city. Yesterday, 7th of November, I was assigned Dr. Yury Sergeev as my Supervisor and the possible fieldwork for my Msc Project is Mathematical Analysis. After investigating it, I realized that the research fieldwork does not match with the specific interests I have, which are directly related with manufacturing processes. For these reasons I would like you to consider assign me a different Supervisor, related with my professional interests (manufacturing processes), where I would be able to contribute and provide major benefits to my career.
