MAKE THE KERCHIEF

With Orchid, cast on 3 sts.

Row 1 (RS) K1, yo, k1, yo, k15 sts. Mark this row as RS of work. Row 2 (WS) and all even rows Knit. Row 3 (inc) K1, yo, k to last st, yo, k1. Rep last 2 rows 37 times81 sts. Piece measures approx 912"/24cm from beg. Knit 4 rows even. Bind off.

Rnd 1 With RS facing, Avocado and crochet hook, beg in 6th st from upper right corner of triangle, ch 1, sc in each st across top of kerchief to upper left corner, 3 sc in upper left corner, 41 sc along left side of kerchief, 3 sc in center back point, 41 sc along right side of kerchief, 3 sc in upper right corner, sc in rem sts across top, join with sl st to beg sc. Rnd 2 Ch 1, work rev sc in each sc around, join with sl st. Fasten off and weave in tails.

With crochet hook, join Avocado at upper right corner of kerchief. Ch 51,

With crochet hook and Avocado, ch 4, join with sl st to form ring. Rnd 1 Ch 2, work 9 hdc in ring, join with sl st. Fasten off, leaving 18"/45.5cm tail for sewing. Rnd 2 Join Mustard with sl st in any hdc on Rnd 1. *Ch 3, dc in same hdc, sl st in next hdc, rep from * around, join with sl st10 petals. Fasten off. Using photo for reference, sew 3 flowers at upper edge of kerchief through rnd 1, approx 2"/5cm to right of center, slightly overlapping flowers as shown. Sew one flower to center back point of kerchief.
