MEET JAY

Jay courageously battled a malignant brain tumor for 2 years and WON as he skipped into the Gates of Heaven on March 31, 2006.

GET INVOLVED
We offer many unique resources to our families including financial support, social activities for patients and their families, and emotional & spiritual support. Jays HOPE proudly returns $0.90 of each $1.00 raised to our family support programs. The Life Connection Center located in the Jays HOPE office is the ONLY walk-in testing center in the state of Georgia. We are currently open for walk-in appointments Monday - Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. You can save a life by joining the National Bone Marrow Registry with a simple swab of a cheek.

Family Support

Bone Marrow Donation

While we honor the memory of our precious Jay, the Jays HOPE mission was inspired by the stories of others. We were called to stand in the gap, give direct support, relieve burdens and share the HOPE of Jesus Christ. Jays HOPE wants to make a difference now in the lives of children with cancer and their families. We appreciate your partnership, time, giving and most of all your prayers. We couldnt do it without you! Cindy & Jason Gaskins

Jays HOPE is grateful for our many donors, volunteers, and sponsors. There are many ways to get involved with Jays HOPE--you can volunteer your time, book a representative for a speaking engagement for your church, civic club or other organization, or you can organize a fundraising event. We have a place for every person who wishes to make a difference in the life of a child with cancer.

GET HELP
When your childs treatment team gives you information about your childs cancer, you may not remember everything. That is natural. It is a lot of information, and your emotions will get in the way as you try to take it all in. Use these techniques write (keep a notebook) and ask a friend or family member to attend care meetings to help retain information. Always remember that you are your childs only advocate and need to be an effective partner with your childs treatment team.
