It works to promote the highest standards in employment and instruction, improve professional support and interaction, and increase public and government recognition of the ESL field. It also provides ESL professionals in Hawaii with opportunities for networking and professional development. Hawaii TESOL offers four major activities a year. Hawaii TESOL conference is held every year in February. Some of the activities that Webheads exchange share and discuss new technology advancement. New ideas are being discussed for classroom curriculum. ESL and TESOL professionals join this community because of the activities they are involved in. I meet and learn from fellow English Language Teachers, and other sources that may be more relevant to me.

I think I can definitely meet and learn from TESOL society activities and share ideas that I have with others. However for the most part, I can participate in TESOL conference and actively engage in social meetings through the conference. Various TESOL materials are available for fellow English language teachers. We can also collaborate information and share with one another through social networks such as Facebook, twitter, emails, Canvas.. so forth.
