CREATING A WEB PAGE BANNER 
Steps :

1. Set the file by choosing Modify > Document. The Movie Properties dialog box will 
be displayed.
2. Type 780px in the Width field
3. Type 200px in the Height field.
4. Background Color : Black
5. Set the Frame Rate at 20 fps (frame per second)
6. Click OK

7. Double click Layer 1 and rename  as background

8. Click File > Import to Library > SOURCE folder > Source Flash > image1.jpg and 
click Open.

9. To open Library panel, click  Window > Library. You can see the image in the 
Library panel. 

10. Drag the image1.jpg from the Library panel to the Stage.
11. Click Free Transform Tool from the toolbar and resize the image. (Make sure the 
image is covering the entire stage)

12. Click Insert  > Convert To Symbol. A dialog Box named Convert to Symbol will 
appear. Name as background_mc and select Behavior : Movie Clip. Click OK.

         

13. Save the file as banner.fla
14. Click frame 60 of background layer,  click Insert  > Keyframe (or press F6)

15. Click Arrow Tool.
16. Click frame 1 of background layer, click the image on the stage. At Properties 
Inspector select Color  > Alpha  > set 0% for the alpha value.

17. Click frame 20, click Insert  > Create Motion Tween

18. Click Insert  > Layer. Name the layer as image.
19. Choose File  > Import to Library  > SOURCE folder  > Source Flash > 
image2.jpg and click Open. 
20. Click  Window  > Library. You can see the image in the Library panel.
21. Drag the image2.jpg from the Library panel to the Stage.

22. Click Free Transform Tool from the toolbar and resize the image. (Make sure the 
image covered the entire stage)
23. Click Insert  > Layer. Name the layer as mask.

24. Click on Rectangle Tool

25. Draw a rectangle (Make sure the rectangle covered the entire stage)

26. Click Arrow Tool. Double click the rectangle.
27. Click Insert  > Convert to Symbol. Name as rectangle and select Behavior : 
Graphic. Click OK

28. Right click on mask layer, choose Mask.

29. Unlock the layer mask and image.
30. Click  at frame 180 of image layer, click Insert  > Keyframe.
31. Click at frame 180 of  mask layer, click Insert  > Keyframe.
32. At layer mask, drag the rectangle to the right side of the stage.(Make sure the 
rectangle is outside the stage). 

33. Click at frame 1 of mask layer, click Insert  > Create Motion Tween.
34. Click Insert  > Layer. Name the  layer as text1
35. Click  frame 30, click Insert  > Keyframe (or press F6)
36. Select Text Tool. Click on the stage then type : Information (choose any font style, 
colour and size)

        

37. Click Arrow Tool. Select text1.

38. Click Modify  > Break Apart twice.
39. Select Paint Bucket Tool and choose Gradient for Fill Color.

      

40. Click Insert  > Convert to Symbol. Name it as text1_mc, Behavior : Movie Clip. 
Click OK.

41. Click  frame 60 of  text1 layer, click Insert  > Keyframe (or press F6).
42. Click frame 30 of text1 layer, click Information text. At Properties Inspector select 
Color  > Alpha > set 0% for the alpha value.
43. Click Insert  > Create Motion Tween
44. Click Insert  > Layer. Name the layer as text2.
45. At frame 60 of text2 layer, click Insert  >  Keyframe (or press F6)
46. Select Text Tool then type : at your fingertips (choose font, font size and font color)

47. Click Arrow Tool Select text2.
48. Click Insert  >  Convert to Symbol. Name as text2_mc and select Behavior : 
Movie Clip. Click OK.

49. Click frame 90 of text2 layer, click Insert  >  Keyframe (or press F6)
50. Click frame 90 of text1 layer, click Insert  >  Keyframe (or press F6) 
51. Click frame 90 of background layer, click Insert  >  Keyframe (or press F6) 
52. Click frame 60 of text2 layer, click at your fingertips text. At Properties Inspector 
select Color  > Alpha  > set 0% for the alpha value.
53. Click Insert  > Create Motion Tween
54. Click frame 140 of text2 layer, Insert  > Keyframe 
55. Click frame 140 of text1 layer, Insert  > Keyframe 
56. Click frame 140 of background layer, Insert  > Keyframe 

57. Click frame 180 of text2 layer, Insert  > Keyframe 
58. Click frame 180 of text1 layer, Insert  > Keyframe 
59. Click  frame 180 of background layer, Insert  > Keyframe 
60. Click frame 140 of text2 layer, click Insert  > Create Motion Tween 
61. Click frame 140 of text1 layer, click Insert  > Create Motion Tween 
62. Click File > Save to resave file.
