Onboard verication service

The onboard verication to ensure NOx Annex VI compliance can be done by measuring the engine performance. MAN B&W Diesel offers measurements of the required parameters by calibrated equipment, as stated in the NOx Technical Code. The Technical File on board can be updated to the MAN B&W Diesel Unied Technical File, as described in our booklet A Guideline to the Unied Technical File. This allows engine adjustments while still keeping the engine in compliance to Annex VI. Standard templates will be prepared to document the results of onboard verication to the Classication societies or Flag State Authorities, allowing an easy approval process.

For two-stroke engines, the NOx Compliance Service Package includes:

1. Update of Technical File to the MAN B&W Diesel Unied Technical File 2. Issuing of Amendments required by the Classication Societies 3. Programming of Survey Code for easy onboard verication 4. Onboard verication by engine performance measurements by calibrated sensors 5. Possibility to verify compliance through web-performance. The above helps gaining compliance approval by Classication Societies. Price of NOx Compliance Service Pack: Euro 6,000 Can be combined with our Extended Annual Service Package: Euro 8,500 The price includes one Superintendent Engineer from one of our service centres, travelling and living expenses will be invoiced separately.
