They will show their learning through written chapter analyses that describe these three key elements. Each student will read I Heard the Owl Call my Name at their own pace. For each chapter, they must complete a paragraph analysis that demonstrates understanding of theme, plot and character. Once they have completed the book and ALL their chapter analyses, they may begin the independent reading project, which will be shortly announced.
