Vision
My vision is to help them grow up ,prepare them and to provide opportunities to young children to learn good techniques; positive self-esteem; knowledge and skills towards kindergarten.

Mission
My mission is to provide a safe, positive environment for Infants, preschoolers and school age children with guidance and always supporting trust and respect towards others, modeling positive social skills ,providing a home like environment where children are encouraged to develop at their own pace.

Program Description
My 2nd home Daycare is a home based program serving children ages15 months to 5 years old and school age children up to 10 years old when school is closed due to weather; holidays; etc) but continue to receive a developmentally appropriate program and opportunities to participate in group activities. These activities include but are not limited to: homework help, music, art and physical education. My program will encourage children to explore the environment and build their gross motor skills. Music, nursery rhymes, games, and stories will be part of daily routines to help children acquire language through a structured program that encourages language development and builds cognitive skills. Planning a variety of hands-on activities to help the child learn colors, shapes, counting, animals, nursery rhymes and much more. Active working on teaching children social skills like sharing, taking turns, and using words to solve problems. If the child is ready for potty-training, I will offer lots of positive reinforcement to help make this process fun.

Mother Goose Time Preschool Curriculum


Mother Goose Time is a professionally developed preschool curriculum that nurtures the whole child and supports the child's social, emotional and intellectual growth. Each tool includes a monthly curriculum kit which is intentionally designed to meet a range of preschool skills. All tools are based on research and best practices.

Curriculum
Ages :Mother Goose Time toddler curriculum 15 months - 2 1/2 years. Form :Arrives in keepsake yellow school bus box with monthly CD and organized by Day Packs for each child. A Beka Book Curriculum


A Beka curriculum is a set of all the courses of study offered by an educational institution that uses spiraling method in the early grades. It provides books for different grads including basic math 7th grade, algebra and business mathematics among others. A Beka Book provides Christian schools and home schools with outstanding curriculum and textbooks built on a foundation of academic excellence and Christian character training. Schools and home schools benefit from our treasury of textbooks and teaching materials that reflect the very best in traditional education, comprehensive curriculum, and eternal truths. A Beka focuses on core curriculum recognizing letters and sounds, led by teacher guidance and working out of a workbook, but the children learn to blend letters and read quickly and at their own pace.

My 2nd Home Daycare will operate from Monday-Friday from 6:30am-6:00pm serving children ages 15 months to 5 years old and school age children up to 10 years old when school is closed due to weather; holidays; etc. I will care for no more than 5 children on a daily basis. Care will include Breakfast, lunch and snacks with water, juice and milk to drink. All other food and/or drinks including formula will be provided by the parent. The Parent's also agrees to provide diapers, wipes, and creams for their own child if he/she is still diapering. A fee may be charged for any items or meals provided by the child care provider that are not included in this provision. Examples include, but are not limited to formula, baby food, dinner, diapers, wipes, and sun tan lotion . Charge for care is payable every Monday. Any late fees accumulated for the current week will be due at this time in addition to the standard care/overtime rates for the following week. understand this is a guaranteed rate and includes full pay for holidays with no credit for absent or sick days. This is a flat rate and stays the same amount regardless of attendance or hours.

Holidays: For the purpose of this contract the following dates are considered

to be statutory holidays:
* NEW YEARS DAY* MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY* PRESIDENTS DAY * MEMORIAL DAY *INDEPENDENCE DAY (4TH OF JULY) * LABOR DAY* *THANKSGIVING (THURSDAY) * CHRISTMAS DAY

Vacation: Half rates apply to provider's vacation time. It is up to the parent's

to find alternate care on these days. One month advance notice is preferred for extended absences from care, but a minimum of two weeks advance notices is required.
Termination: The childcare provider reserves the privilege of immediate

termination of this contract and dismissal of any child if, after enrolling he/she becomes disruptive to the group or ungovernable, the parent's) breach this contract, or fees have not been paid. In all other situations either party wishing termination of this contract for any reason must provide at least two weeks (14 calendar days) notice so that alternate arrangements my be made.

Illness: You are required to keep your child home when ill and need to inform the childcare provider as soon as possible in this circumstance. Parent's) will be notified as soon as possible for any sick days for the childcare provider and her own children. Parent's) are responsible for finding back up daycare. The childcare provider will not accept any child in her care if the child has any of the following: vomiting, diarrhea, pink eye, and temperature over 101 degrees, head lice, or any other contagious illness. If a child develops any of these the parent's) will be contacted and it will be expected that the child will be picked up as soon as possible.

FOREIGN LANGUAGE
My 2nd Home Daycare provides a special program curriculum which is learning Spanish as a second language. In fact, a childs brain is designed to learn multiple languages. Exposing children to the language and cultures of others is extremely beneficial and can result in enhanced academic achievement in reading, math and social studies. FOREIGN LANGUAGE
