General Purpose Bombs ARES MK 80 Series

The general purpose bombs are low drag bombs used in most bombing operations. These bombs provide a large blast effect, resulting from the explosion, high detonation temperatures and fragmentation power, resulting in a large final demolition effect. Modern aircraft manage a high strike rate with this type of weapon by means of ballistic calculations that automatically compensate launching variables such as the wind and the velocity of the aircraft. Being a low cost weapon and efficient, it has been used on a large scale for many years around the world. Four different models of different sizes and weights are produced.
