I was informed by the Mayor that Stonegate is ready to proceed with the demolition of the gins. At the request of the Mayor, per the requirements from Elizabeth to document the Northport Gin Complex, I contacted Mr. David B. Schneider, who is a historic preservationist. Mr. Schneider has experience in HABS (Historic American Building Survey) and comes highly recommended by Dr. Darrell Meyer. I faxed him a copy of the letter I received from Mrs. Brown stating what should be included in the documentation.
