discover what career cluster best fits with your interests.

SPRING
Update rsum on MCIS record all activities,
accomplishments, and awards received throughout the year.

Evaluate Occupations activity in MCIS and learn

about the pros and cons to different careers.

Keep the momentum and finish the year with strong

academic grades.

Get involved in some extracurricular activities to

show colleges you are a well-rounded student. Keep track of the numbers of hours volunteered to add to rsum.

Register for solid sophomore classes that emphasize

college prep.

In October Bring your parents to College Night to

learn about the college process.

SUMMER
Use the summer to explore jobs and careers of
interest. For example, sign up for a camp or course, volunteer in an area of interest, or secure a rewarding summer job or internship.

WINTER
Evaluate Programs of Study in MCIS . Compare
different majors and programs that colleges offer.

Evaluate Postsecondary Options in MCIS. Compare

different types of schools to learn what may be the best fit.
