Windows 95

When installing the PCI Graphics and Video Accelerator Card for the first time, Windows 95 may automatically detect your new card. If the New Hardware Found window appears, then refer to section 2.1.1 of this manual for installation procedure. 1) Open Display in the control panel of My Computer. 2) Click on Settings tab. Click Change Display Type. 3) Under Adapter Type, click Change. 4) Click Have Disk. 5) Place the ProMotion driver diskette in drive A, click OK. 6) Select Alliance ProMotion for Device, click OK. 7) Close the Change Display Type window. 8) In the Display Properties window, click Apply. Click Yes to restart computer with your ProMotion driver installed.

Auto Install
Follow these installation instructions only if the New Hardware Found window appears when starting Windows 95. 1) In New Hardware Found screen, select Driver from disk provided by hardware manufacturer, click OK. 2) Place the ProMotion driver diskette in drive A, click OK. 3) Select Alliance ProMotion for Device, click OK. 4) Click Yes to restart computer with your ProMotion driver installed.

PMGamma Utility
Gamma and chroma correction features of the ProMotion utilities apply to Alliance ProMotion 6422, AT24, and later graphics & video accelerators. These features are not available on ProMotion 3210 and 6110 graphics accelerator cards. The PMGamma (ProMotion Gamma and Chroma Correction ) utility applies hardware gamma correction to the Windows 95 desktop and/or chroma correction to video. 1) In the Windows taskbar tray, left click on PMGamma icon: 2) To apply gamma correction to the Windows desktop, left click on Desktop Gamma Correction:

3) To apply chroma correction to video, click on Video Chroma Correction . Usage is identical to the Desktop Gamma Correction panel.

ProMotion Directors Chair 95 Utility

The ProMotion Directors Chair 95 utility allows the user to control the graphics environment by adjusting the virtual desktop, monitor refresh rate, screen centering, gamma correction and video chroma correction . 1) Open Display in the control panel of My Computer.
