THURSDAY Learning Target- Students will identify main ideas and supporting details and show their knowledge by taking notes on main ideas and details and writing summaries.

Assignment(s) DueStudents read Giant Pandas and fill out graphic organizers that require students to write down main ideas and details, and write summaries. Assignment(s) DueStudents will listen to an article about a panda that escapes from the zoo, and write a narrative from the point of view of the panda that escaped.

FRIDAY Learning Target- Students will create narratives by writing a story from the point of view of an escaped red panda.
