the Tata Oil Mills Company being established to make

sold to Hindustan Lever (now Unilever) in 1984

1932-Tata Airlines founded by JRD

India was nationalized in 1953.
By the time of Sir Dorab Tata’s
death in 1932, the Tata Group
had consolidated in businesses

Sir Dorab was succeeded as

chairman of the Group by Sir
Nowroji Saklatwala. In 1938,
