1. Choose seven different types of animals and complete the grid making four types of ships: - 1 battleship (four animals of the same kind, for example: 4 fish). - 2 destroyers (3 animals of the same kind). - 3 submarines (2 animals of the same kind). - 4 boats (only one animal per boat). 2. Copy and paste, across or down, the animals in the squares to place the different types of ships. 3. Do not place a ship so that any part of it touches another ship. 4. Copy the table above to draw your shots. 5. Decide who will play first (i.e. throw the dice). Take turns, calling out one shot per turn to try and hit each others ships. 6. When you call a shot, your opponent must tell you whether your shot is a hit or a miss. 7. When your opponent sinks a ship, you must tell her/him something about your animal and she/he must guess what animal it is. 8. A: Ill start: B2. B: Thats a miss. My turn: A4. A: Thats a miss. My turn: B3. B: Thats a hit. Its a submarine. A: Its my turn again, B4. B: Thats a miss. My turn: B2. A: Thats a miss. My turn: C3. B: Sunk!!! My animal is red. A: They are two ladybirds!
