Why visit Miami? (Culture)

The culture of Miami is unlike any other, being a spot that contains some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and sunny warm weather. Used to be kind of a senior citizen spot is now one of the trendiest places for young people to live. This is due to a hyperactive nightlife. Because Miami is right off of the coast of a couple different places the culture and life style is influenced by all of the following: Caribbean, Latin America and South American.

Why We Must STOP! (Affect of Climate Change)

As Americans we burn fossil fuels everyday. Weather your directly doing it or using materials that burns them. Burning fossil fuels releases CO2. Then this CO2 gets trapped in the atmosphere. Heat comes into the atmosphere but can't escape. Therefore the world is heating up more rapidly than natural creating serious problems because animals cannot adapt. The warmth is heating up the polar ice caps which in result are melting. This decreases land and increases ocean. Meaning loss of habitat for species on the coast and species having to adapt to a new environment and warmer temperatures. A species becoming more and more prevalent in the north is the black sea bass due to a warmer ocean they don't migrate as much. Conversely a species becoming way less prevalent is the sea turtle due to less beach to nest on. What can you do? -Use LESS. Electricity is a huge part of the problem we use way too much unnecessary electricity just to be 2 degrees warmer in the winter or to use all the latest gadgets. UNPLUG. -Transport together. If you're going to the same place as someone carpool! Burning gasoline in cars is a huge cause of emissions of CO2 and other greenhouse gases.
