Structure and Principle The dryer adopts hollow inclined disks with the aim of obtaining a high heat transfer rate and raising the oscillation effect to a maximum. As the disks rotate, This dryer has the selfcleaning effect to scrape dried material off automatically sticking to the shaft and casing. In this way, the evaporation performance is enhanced by the prevention of adhesion of material and the renewal of the heat transfer surfaces.

Explanation of Flow

Raw Material Flow The material entering through one side of the dryer is subjected to intense agitation and oscillation, and is heated and dried through the heat transfer surface. The material is finally discharged with the target moisture content through the other side of the dryer as it goes over the moving dam. Exhaust Gas Flow The moisture content evaporated from the material is discharged in acompanied with the carrier gas. The exhaust gas, at approximately 100 C, is cleaned of dust by the scrubber and cooled down. After the gas is cleaned of dust and cooled, approximately 60 to 70% of it is circulated for reuse as carrier gas. Steam Flow Steam at 0.5 to 0.8 MPa is used as the main heating source. The steam flows inside the shaft disk and the jacket, thus heating the material indirectly.
