Abstract Nepenthes are carnivorous plant that eating insect where live in tropical environment.

Population of Nepenthes spread from Asia to Australia. However, more spread in Indonesi because these plants are Indonesian endemic. Indonesia has the most diverse species of Nepenthes compared with other countries. Most Nepenthes population in Borneo and Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, Papua and others. Unfortunately, populations of certain spesies oof Nepenthe recently started rare scarce. In fact, institutions in the world have issud some kind of status that nepenthes has been rare. This scarcity that cause looting in the forest, take the plant is not directly the result in their habitat in accordance with its original habitat. Therefore, it is necessary to protect and maintain these plants by conservation. One way to develop a garden of Nepenthes. Various efforts have been made in conservation but still founded obstacle. One is the survival of different Nepenthes. Therefore, requires the role of all us to protect these plants.
