Job Description

Job title: Reporting to: Hours: Events Manager Events Chairman 10-15hr p.w.

Purpose & Goals


Events managers are responsible for the planning, execution and marketing of events (parties, cultural, academic, sport and other events). The goal is to organise at least 4 sports tournaments, 3 parties, 3 cultural and one academic event per academic year. The events committee has 4 events managers and each project has 4 roles; Events Organizer, External Relations, Online Marketing Manager and Offline Marketing Manager. The events committee is cross-functional, meaning that you will learn the skill set of each position throughout the year.

Responsibilities & duties


Events Organizer 1. conceptualization 2. LT event calendar 3. task division 4. event coordination 5. event analysis External Relations 1. Communicates & coordinates ambassadors 2. Meetings with Task force 3. Partner communication & relations management

Online Marketing Manager 1. Social Media strategy 2. Website event uploading 3. Marketing strategy with Offline MM 4. Online ticket sale 5. Surveys/questionnaires

6. Guest list management

Online Marketing Manager 1. design, acquisition & distribution of offline promo material 2. sponsor acquitions 3. Recording & bookkeeping of promotional budgets & spendings 4. Marketing strategy with Online MM 5. Offline ticket sale 6. Flyering coordination 7. Contact with marketing partners
