Routes with Rocket Motion
Dewayne Alexander
Head Coach
Cumberland University Bulldogs

• FB is at 3 ½ yards for the rocket

• Wingbacks are in a 1 foot by 1 foot alignment
• Motion is run hard to 1 foot behind the FB out to the numbers
• QB has a tight reverse open and there is no fake to the FB
• QB reads the flat defender – if he turns to cover deep, throw to the rocket man; if he
