Why is it important to know how to introduce myself correctly in Spanish? How can I introduce myself? How do I greet someone? How do I introduce someone else? How do I say my name in Spanish? How do I use farewells in Spanish? How do I pray in Spanish? How can I practice what I had learned in previous years? The students will learn how to introduce themselves, to say hello to people and greet them with the proper phrase depending on the time of the day. The students will practice how to say their names and ask others for their names. Theyll learn how to say goodbye to people. Students will practice to ask other people how are they doing. Students will be introduced to praying in Spanish.

Students listen, observe, decode and read proper greetings, farewells and think of answers for questions. Listen to others introduce themselves. Listen to the teacher model correct questions. Students talk between them using greetings, farewells, and questions Students introduce themselves. Students write the phrases, draw pictures to represent the time of the day, the students play games where they introduce themselves and ask questions.

Formative Assessments
Quiz/ Game: the students pick the right phrases for the right conversations. Theyll draw themselves, write and introduction and present to the class.
