A Place for Girls 912 Cedar Road Chesapeake, Va 23322 To Whom It May Concern,

April 9, 2012

Rio Ziegler served as an intern with the Girl Scouts of the Colonial from January 14, 2013 to May 2, 2013. During that time, I have found her to be enthusiastic with an excellent professional demeanor. She has command of many communication skills that she utilized in several of our Council event projects, such as the Helping Hands Food Drive, as well as in telling our Girl Scout story to the public through media venues. She consistently uses good judgment when preparing messages for both internal and external audiences. I have found Rio to be reliable, dedicated and eternally upbeat. She has the ability to multitask on projects and effectively handles a high-volume workload. She consistently met or surpassed work expectations. As a non-profit, we are very mindful of good customer service when it comes to communicating with our volunteers. Rio has been valuable in this regard, and I have had volunteers comment on how pleasant she was to work with on assignments. They have appreciated how organized and diligent she is, and her ability to do so with sincere interest. Rio has been a valuable member of our Councils communication team. I would not hesitate to recommend Rio for a position in which she can use her skills and talents as a communication professional and will be happy to furnish more details upon request. Sincerely, Marcella Germanotta GSCCC Communications Director
