Young Editors Summit The students of class XI attended Young Editors Workshop on 26th July and 27th July

hosted by Modern School Barakhamba Road, New Delhi. The two parallel sessions organised were General Writing and The Science Editors Workshop. Each session had six members that included two reporters,two illustrators, a photographer and a pagemaker. Around 20 schools from Delhi and NCR participated in this summit. After a series of speeches by the eminent speakers, the students from different schools were shuffled and new teams were formed which had members from other schools. Each team was given a topic and based on their topic was sent for field visit. The students gathered information, interviewed people and visited science galleries, art museums, railway museums etc. The workshop concluded with the group leaders sharing their experiences of writing newsletters and then presenting them. The workshop provided an opportunity for young learners to be in a leadership role, take the baton in their hands and find solutions to the crisis that surrounds us. The compiled published work was given to all the participating schools.
