2D Shapes 3D Shapes

2D Shapes have only two dimensions, 3D Shapes have three dimensions, width,
width and height. height and depth.

Sides/Faces 2D 3D Example (2D)

1 - Sphere -

2 - Cone -

3 Triangle Cylinder

4 Quadrilateral Tetrahedron

5 Pentagon Square Pyramid

6 Hexagon Cube

7 Septagon Pentagonal Prism

8 Octagon Octahedron

9 Nonagon Septagonal Prism

10 Decagon Decahedron

11 Hendecagon Hendecahedron

12 Dodecagon Dodecahedron

To create a name, combine the prefix+suffix

Sides Prefix
20 Icosikai...
30 Triacontakai...
40 Tetracontakai...
50 Pentacontakai...
60 Hexacontakai...
70 Heptacontakai...
80 Octacontakai...
90 Enneacontakai...

+ Sides Suffix
+1 ...henagon
+2 ...digon
+3 ...trigon
+4 ...tetragon
+5 ...pentagon
+6 ...hexagon
+7 ...heptagon
+8 ...octagon
+9 ...enneagon

And for 3D shapes, change ...gon to ...hedron .

Euler’s formula for 3D shapes:
Vertices (Corners) - Edges (Sides) + Faces = 2

I learnt that you could create custom shape names, like above.
