Dust entrained during site preparation and grading/excavation at the construction site; Dust entrained during onsite travel on paved and unpaved surfaces; Dust entrained during aggregate and soil loading and unloading operations; Wind erosion of areas disturbed during construction activities; Exhaust from the Diesel construction equipment used for site preparation, grading excavation, and construction onsite structures; Exhaust from water trucks used to control construction dust emissions; Exhaust from Diesel-powered welding machines, electric generators, air compressors, water pumps, etc. Exhaust from Diesel trucks used to deliver concrete, fuel and construction supplies to the construction site; Exhaust from automobiles and trucks used by workers to commute to the construction site; rain or stormwater

Operational measures, such as limiting engine idling tome and shutting down equipment when not in use; Regular preventive maintenance to prevent emissions increases due to engine problems Use of low-sulfur and low aromatic fuel meeting PCAA standards for motor vehicle Diesel fuel; Use of low-emitting Diesel engines meeting federal emissions standards for construction equipment if available; Use either water application or chemical dust suppressant application to control dust emissions from unpaved surface travel an unpaved parking areas; Use vacuum sweeping and/or water flushing of paved road surface to remove buildup of loose material to control dust emissions from travel on the paved access road (including adjacent public streets impacted by construction activities) and paved parking areas Cover all trucks hauling soil, sand, and other loose materials, or require all trucks to maintain at least two feet of freeboard; Limit traffic speeds on unpaved surfaces to 25 mph; Install sandbags or other erosion control measures to prevent silt runoff to roadways;

These measures will be applied in different project phases as may be applicable

Watershed Management will be implemented Re-plant vegetation in disturbed areas within a reasonable period of time; within a 10-hectare area surrounding the source during the operation and maintenance phase of the project As needed, use gravel pads along with wheel washers or wash tires of all trucks exiting construction site that carry track-out dirt from unpaved surfaces; Mitigate fugitive dust emissions from wind erosion of areas disturbed from construction activities (including storage piles) by application of either water or chemical dust suppresant and/or use of wind breaks Liquid hydrotesting and disinfection works will be done after construction of source collection box and allow natural drainage of flood water or water used for hydrotesting and disinfection of source box, ground tank and pipelines by land application concrete ground tank, and after pipelaying works allow settling to occur after maintenance activity has been performed as has been completed natural treatment for turbidity cement preparation will be made some distance from the creek to avoid contamination of water body and to allow natural treatment of the creek before resumption of domestic use monitoring of water quality by taking sample for analysis at the laboratory or conducting on-site testing before and after the hydrotesting and disinfection of pipes Instruct employees and subcontractors on identification of solid waste and hazardous waste and proper disposal procedures, and Wherever possible, minimize production of solid waste materials. Dumpsters of sufficient size and number will be provided to contain the solid waste generated by the project and properly serviced regularly maintain clean construction sites and minimize the exposure of waste to storm water. Properly labelled trash receptacles will be provided in the materials yard and at locations where workers congregate for lunch and break periods. These containers will be transported at the Material Recovery Facility in the area. Only watertight dumpsters will be used on-site. Solid waste storage areas should be located at least 50-feet from drainage facilities and watercourses and should not be located in areas prone to flooding or should ponding. Construction waste be stored in a designated area approved by the CRM and should be removed from the site every two weeks or directed by the Engineer or CRM. Segregate potentially hazardous waste from non-hazardous construction site waste. Make sure the toxic liquid wastes (e.g., used oils, solvents, and paints) and chemical (e.g., acids, pesticides, additives, curing compounds) are not disposed of in dumpsters designated for construction debris. For disposal of hazardous waste, see section on Hazardous Waste

Solid

Management. Have hazardous waste hauled to an appropriate disposal and/or recycling facility. Salvage or recycle useful vegetation debris, packaging and/or surplus building materials when practical. For example, trees and shrubs from land clearing can be converted into wood chips, then used as mulch on graded areas. Wood pallets, cardboard boxes, and construction scraps can also be recycled. Noise workers will be advised to put on ear plugs especially operators of the noise generating equipments noise barriers will be constructed in areas where a community may be located

project area is mostly composed of open spaces construction activities in the timberland area area are reduced to the receiving point since the vegetation serve as natural noise barriers
