The price of a house in 1975 was £16,000 and was made up of) cost of labour, (i) cost of material, (ii) builders profit. These were in the proportion 12 : 15 : 5 respectively. Caleuiate the builder's profit. It is estimated that, by 1977, the cost of labour will rise by x% and the cost of matetials by 2x%. Write down rate expressions in terms of x for the estimated costs of labour and of materials in 1977. If the estimated cost of labour is then two-thirds of the estimated cost of materials, calculate the value of x. Given that the builder's actual profit in 1977 is the same as in 1975, calculate the price of a house in 1977 identical to the one built in 1975, (17 marks) ‘Tum over
