Long Live Hope!

Strength is within us
! Hope is a powerful emotion that is alive in us. It has help us to overcome an obstacle or a problem. It is a strong ability that we have put our faith in. We were masters of nature, masters of the world(Wiesel pg.83) The text is referring to the Jewish people, who were victims in the holocaust, that had overcome the snowstorm with their strength. What gave them strength was hope and it helped many survive such as Elie. They were Stronger than cold or hunger, stronger than the shots and the desire to die....we were the only men on earth.(Wiesel pg.83) Hope has made the Jews stronger than nature and their strength made them to be consider as the strongest men. Strength was within each Jew hoping that they will survive another day or hoping that someone will stop the scapegoat that they were living. People have experience a struggle or a necessity in their lives once in their lifetime. With a fearful trill of things unknown but longed for still and his is heard for the caged bird sings of freedom(Angelou, 6) In Angelous poem, I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings, the bird is asking for freedom. The bird experiences horror and struggles that has made him feel that he is trap in a nightmare. Throughout his struggles, he hopes that one day he will be free and his strength has helped him to overcome the obstacles that he had faced. Hope has remind us that we are not living in a dark, cynical world. This powerful emotion has given us strength to overcome anything that we desire to accomplish.

Layout and Design

I used a mans back as my background because it shows how he is exing with his strength. His strength represents that hope is strong. I used white text to make the words to stand out so my audience could notice the purpose of my propaganda. The images are black and white because I want my audience to feel that they are viewing the pictures as if it was the rst time they saw this image in the era that color images still didnt exist. I decided not to use any cursive text because I want my audience to read my propaganda clearly.
