1. Introduction
1.1 Purpose

The following document describes the procedure to Remove & Install assets (rotables) from/to an aircraft tree in the RAL application. 1.2 Overview

In the life of an aircraft there will be removals and installations of rotable parts. This document describes the procedure to carry out these removals and installations in the RAL application in order to keep the aircraft status current. This removal and installation procedure ensures proper calculation of rotable life code values on removal or installation.

2. Specific Instructions
2.1 Any process that you need to carry out in the application is marked with the arrow that prefixes the line. The process starts from a Work Order from which a Due Maintenance forecast is run, the Asset is Imported into a Work Order Task and then the Asset is Detached. The replacement Asset can be Attached during this process. Raise a Work Order in the applicable Work Order range. Enter Text to describe the Maintenance activity.

Click the Tasks tab. Select Import then Import Due/Maintenance Item Forecasted as shown in figure 2.
