Short Study Proposal at the Freie Universitt Berlin Roberto Salazar Morales Alumnus of the Ecole Normale Suprieure

During my year at the FU-Berlin I want to focus on the study of Latin and Greek, as well as on Latin and Greek literature. My goal is to get to know the tools with which German scholars work in the field of Ancient Studies. I know professor Andreas Fritsch has done extensive work on Ancient Language Pedagogy, especially on the use of Language and Greek as living languages. This is one of my many fields of interest as a graduate student. As I am also a researcher in Comparative Literature, and as I am planning on doing my PhD thesis on the reception of Ancient sources and texts in contemporary European (French, German, English) and Latin American fiction, I would gladly take some courses on German contemporary literature and German culture. This year will allow me to get acquainted with secondary literature in the German academic world. If possible, I want to keep on studying other modern languages like Arabic, Modern Greek and Russian.
