In both mammography and radiograpy :anode is the ve electrode. Uses rotating anode type. Have highly specialised rotating ball bearing system. i.e rotor and stator. Possesses dual focal spot as anode target. Anode is the site of X ray production.

Differences btw the anode type and xteristic in mammography and radiography
Have diff types of focal spot material,Tungsten used in radio while molybdenum and rhodium in Mammo. Varying dual focal spot sizes small focal spot measures 0.1mm and large is abt 0.3mm, while in radiograhy small fs size ranges btw 0.3-1mm and large fs size is btw 1- 2.5mm
