Anger
For an overseer, as Gods steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain Titus 1:7 (ESV) You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment. 22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, Raca, is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, You fool! will be in danger of the fire of hell. Matt 5:21-22 (NIV) Life Group Questions But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. Col 3:8 (ESV) 1. Describe a recent event when you got really angry. What made you angry? Did you see yourself move along the progression that Col 3:8 describes? 2. When you get angry, do you tend to keep it bottled up, or let it fly? How was your family of origin in this regard? 3.
