Part 1 Ancient Near Eastern Religion and Magic

Welcome On behalf of the Department of Classical and Near Eastern Studies it is my pleasure to welcome you to the module Ancient Near Eastern Religion and Magic; Art and Architecture (ABE 224). In this first part of the module you will be exposed to the religious beliefs and practices of various ancient Near Eastern civilizations as well as the role and use of magic within these religions.

Important notice Please note that the module ABE 224 consist of two sections. The first of these is Ancient Near Eastern Magic and Religion; Art and Architecture and the second Classical Religion and Magic; Art and Architecture. Each of these sections counts as 50% of the final module mark.

If you fail any of the tests there will be an opportunity for you to rewrite the test.
