RELIGION IN INDIA
For a huge country like India which has many religions and cultures staying together it has always been a tough task to manage religious aspirations of all its ppl. This has led to conflict of interests in past and it has been exploited by Political parties and other ppl with vested interests to destabilise the locality and the overall sentiment of that particular community across India. The following are some of the measures which can be adopted to ensure a more cohesive approach to Nation building and also to reduce various contentious issues facing our society pertaining to religion.
1. As per the master plan for any settlement a religious park should be demarcated for construction of religious structures. 2. In existing settlements religious structures should be slowly moved out to religious parks in a phased manner in consultation with local religious leaders.

3.

Compulsory religious education package for school going children to include basic teachings of all religions to drive home basic teachings of other religions and increase acceptability for coexistence.

4.

Religious parks can be utilised to attract tourism and promote secularism and multi-ethnicity of Indian society.

5.

For Disputed religious structures a 'On wheels Temple' or 'On wheel Mosque' can be constructed to pay heed to religious aspirations as well as practical constraints of limited land available.

6.

To promote unification Religious leaders should be consulted to promote 'Nationalisation of religions'.

The concept will have many flaws but If we set the ball rolling for Religious Unification of India there would be great ideas coming forward and many of them can be adopted to reduce friction and increase co-operation.
